Monday, 7 August | Cyber Security: The Criminal's Perspective

Cyber security is complex for those who do not have a technical understanding of the environment. The continual emergence of threats overwhelms many executives who need to be experts across the broad spectrum duties associated with their roles. The cybercriminals have read the same security books and completed the same courses that your cyber security staff have. Now, it's critical to learn how the cybercriminal views your organisation and why they may find you a tempting target.

This masterclass introduces cyber security at a level appropriate to the executive who needs to understand security, but is not presented in a complex, technical manner. The course discusses the persons who are likely to attack your organisation, their motivations, and their methodologies, as well as corporate vulnerabilities. With this new knowledge, you will be able to understand the cyber environment within. Furthermore, you will study methodologies that can be used to raise the level of cyber security within your organisation.

Presented by Graeme Edwards, Bond University and Dr Dennis Desmond
