Uni founder's grandson graduates from Bond

THE grandson of Alan Bond has graduated from the late businessman's namesake university. Charles Bond Fewster had his degree conferred at Bond University before Chancellor Annabelle Bennett on December 2, with his grandmother Eileen Bond in the audience. He is the first Bond to graduate from Bond, departing with a Bachelor of Business.

Hat-trick of success for Professor Paul Glasziou

The Director of Bond University’s Institute for Evidence-Based Healthcare (IEBH), Professor Paul Glasziou, has for the third successive year been named in a prestigious international list of medical researchers. Professor Glasziou once again appeared in Clarivate’s Highly Cited Researchers list, which identifies researchers who demonstrated significant influence in their chosen field or fields through the publication of multiple highly-cited papers in the past decade.

A married couple who packed up their lives in Boston and moved to the other side of the world have graduated from Bond University on the same day. Tatyana and David Saccardo sold everything they owned in the US and moved to Varsity Lakes to study in 2018. On Thursday, December 3, they became one of the first married couples to graduate together at Bond University.
