The Office of Future Students is seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in leading, developing and reviewing student recruitment and sales strategies to join the Domestic Student Recruitment team. As a key member of the team, you will be identifying growth business development opportunities, crafting strategic plans, and enhancing domestic student recruitment through data, relevant insights and trends.
You will also lead a team member and work collaboratively within a small team to develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies, focusing on generating leads within specific market regions to meet the commencing enrolment targets for undergraduate and graduate programs.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading domestic student recruitment and sales strategies.
- Identify growth business development opportunities and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Planning and executing relevant tactics, in-market activities, and student acquisition practices.
- Provide high-level analysis of the domestic student recruitment landscape
This role may also require working outside normal business hours and local and interstate travel. About the person
The ideal applicant will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, or a related field, complemented by experience in business development and/or sales.
- A proven track record in developing and executing student recruitment strategies or equivalent experience in business development and sales.
- Advanced skills in lead generation, consultative selling, and closing deals, with a strong focus on achieving results.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including public speaking and presentation skills, with a knack for building strong relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in setting goals, utilising data for informed decision-making, and understanding of the tertiary education sector.

Salary details
The salary range for this full-time position is $ 109,525.60 to $125,534.62 per annum, commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience, plus 12% superannuation.
