About the Position

Reporting to the University Librarian, this critical role will be responsible for leading and managing the Information Resources team to provide innovative access to scholarly information to support the University’s teaching, learning and research activities. As the Manager, Information Resources, the role will be a part of the Library Services Management team, and it will also be required to engage and collaborate with colleagues from other Australian and New Zealand universities.

About the person

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced manager who possess the following skills and experience:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the scholarly information resources environment and emerging trends in publishing, electronic resource management, and vendor relationships.
  • Experience in the application and use of library management systems and vendor platforms.
  • Ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent budget management skills.

Salary details

The salary for the position commences at $109,525 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
