Bond University is proud to host the upcoming Entrepreneurial Women's Series Luncheon: Inspiring Change with Baroness Valerie Amos, CH.
This will be Baroness Amos' only public appearance on the Gold Coast during her visit to Australia, so join us for a unique lunch to hear Baroness Amos talk about her work in politics and public service and why embracing risk is critical to create change.
Baroness Valerie Amos CH has been a pioneer in global politics and diplomacy, gender equality, development and humanitarian issues. She served as the UN Undersecretary General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator for five years before joining the University as Director of the School of African Studies. Baroness Amos has advised the South African government on public service reform, human rights and employment equity and served as International Development Secretary and then Leader of the House of Lords in Tony Blair's government.
