‘Believe it or Not’ is a library research workshop designed to help students find evidence-based research for their Critical Thinking & Communication essay.
This session will go towards your Beyond Bond (digital literacy)!
It will cover:
- Searching for academic evidence-based research using Library
- Searching and selecting academic databases
- Using search techniques and filters for more relevant and current results
- Evaluating the quality of sources
- Acknowledging your sources through referencing/citations to back your argument statements.
Meet us at the Octagon room in the Main Library (near the print shop). Please bring your laptop so you can save citations and complete the Beyond Bond quiz.
