Life can take us down many different paths, and no journey to university is the same. At Bond, there are a number of ways to get into university if you don’t currently meet the standard entry requirements for your preferred degree at Bond.
Entry via Bond University College
Bond University College provides pathways to undergraduate study with programs delivered at Bond’s main campus. Depending on your previous educational history, there are two pathway options through Bond University College.

Diploma programs
Higher education diploma programs are non-degree programs offered through Bond University College and can be completed as a pathway for students who don’t meet the academic requirements for direct entry into a bachelor’s degree. Bond offers a number of diplomas, which are typically two-semester (8-month) programs that prepare you for your full degree. Once you complete your diploma, you can enter the third semester of a Bond University undergraduate degree.

Diploma Preparation Program
The Diploma Preparation Program equips students with the academic and digital literacy skills required to enter a Bond higher education diploma program. It is made up of three subjects and can be completed in just one semester (four months), allowing you to then enter your chosen Bond University diploma program and be on your way to your bachelor’s degree.
Entry via a VET qualification
You may be considered for admission based on your successful completion of a recognised Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 4 Certificate IV or higher qualification. If you have successfully completed a diploma or advanced diploma (AQF Levels 5 and 6), you may also be considered for advanced standing. If you have also attained an ATAR, then Bond will take into account the higher ranked of the two qualifications (ATAR or VET) for your admission.
Entry via work experience
You may be able to receive admission into the Bond program of your choice by showing a history of related work experience, considered on a case-by-case basis. Your employment experience needs to be verified by a statement of service from your employer that includes your position title, length of service and a brief statement on the tasks you’ve undertaken in your time there. Please speak with our Office of Future Students team to establish any additional requirements before pursuing with your employer.
