Description

In this subject you will learn core skills in enabling occupation. The subject will adopt the Canadian Model of Occupational Performance and the Canadian Model of Client-Centred Enablement. You will learn foundational skills in therapeutic communication, adaptation of tasks and recommendation of assistive technology, advocacy, collaboration & coordination, environmental modification, and health education. You will also develop hands-on skills in a range of specialised interventions such as splint fabrication.
