Description

Individual Study in EMBA is an elective subject in the EMBA postgraduate program offered by the Bond Business School. Students must complete an independent research paper on an agreed topic, supervised by a Bond Business School academic staff member. Enrolment is by application only and Faculty approval is required. Learning objectives

1. Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills to plan and complete an independent research paper, applicable to the field of work or learning. 2. Apply critical thinking to analyse, consolidate and synthesise knowledge in relation to the field of study. 3. Demonstrate written communication skills to explain and critique theoretical propositions, methodologies and conclusions. 4. Demonstrate oral communication skills to explain and critique theoretical propositions, methodologies and conclusions.

Assumed knowledge is the minimum level of knowledge of a subject area that students are assumed to have acquired through previous study. It is the responsibility of students to ensure they meet the assumed knowledge expectations of the subject.
