Learning outcomes

1. Students will become familiar with economic way of thinking as it applies the individual consumer, the individual firm and government decision making.
2. Use economic models to analyse a situation in terms of economics.
3. Relate the basic theory of economic theory and principles to current microeconomic issues and evaluate related public policy.
4. Make informed and critical assessment and criticism of the public debate on many economic policy issues.
