Individual Awards
BUHMUN Diplomacy Award
The Diplomacy Award will be presented to the individual who seeks to empathise, understand, and collaborate with their fellow delegates. Those deserving of this award will:
- Embody the spirit of the United Nations and its values;
- Actively listen to the concerns of other delegates;
- Exhibit values of collaboration, togetherness and teamwork;
- Engage with other delegates diplomatically and respectfully; and
- Actively participate in all sessions of the conference.
- The BUHMUN Position Paper Award
BUHMUN Position Paper Award
The Position Paper Award will be presented to the author of the position paper which best meets the following criteria:
- The paper has closely adhered to the position paper structure as provided by BUHMUN;
- The ideas within the position paper are organised thoughtfully;
- The position paper utilises thoughtful, concise grammar and language;
- The position paper reflects a strong understanding of the topic of debate; and
- The position paper is solution-oriented and acknowledged other points of view.

BUHMUN Secretary-General’s Delegation Award
The Delegation (team) Award will be presented to the delegation which best:
- Embodies the spirit of the United Nations and its values;
- Actively listens to the concerns of other delegates;
- Exhibits the values of collaboration, togetherness and teamwork;
- Engages with other delegates diplomatically and respectfully; and
- Actively participates in all sessions of the conference.
The BUHMUN Secretary-General’s Outstanding School Award
The Outstanding School Award will be presented to the school which collectively: Â
- Embodies the spirit of the United Nations and its values;
- Actively listens to the concerns of other delegates;
- Exhibits the values of collaboration, togetherness and teamwork; and
- Engages with other delegates diplomatically and respectfully; and
- Actively participates in all sessions of the conference.
