Dr Gary Bowman

Professional biography

Gary Bowman has a MA(Hons) and PhD from the University of St Andrews in strategic management, specialising in scenario analysis and the application of scenarios to long-term strategic planning. His postdoctoral research, at the University of Cambridge where he was the Cambridge-Singapore Risk Fellow, focused on the socio-economic impact of catastrophic risks. He has extensive private and public sector experience, working on consulting and research projects for multinational enterprises across multiple industries and at various levels of government. Gary's current research is focused on scenario development and risk analysis, publishing in some of the world's leading academic journals. Gary also serves on the editorial board of Futures & Foresight Science.
