The thesis constitutes the major assessable component of the Honours year. It will be assessed as a scientific document, including consideration of the thoroughness of the literature review, the rigour, and validity of the data generated, and the student's analysis, presentation, and interpretation of their results. Additionally, the general presentation and style of the report will be evaluated. This part of the assessment will be usually performed by examiners with relevant experience in the area of research undertaken by the student.
