Victor Schinazi

Professional biography

Victor R. Schinazi is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Bond University and Principal Investigator of the Early Detection of Health Risks and Prevention module in the Future Health Technologies programme in Singapore. Prior to joining Bond University, Victor was a Senior Lecturer at the Chair of Cognitive Science and the GeoGazeLab at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zürich). He also served as co-​PI for the Cognition, Perception and Behaviour in Urban Environments project at the Future Cities Laboratory in Singapore.

Victor has published high impact articles and book chapters in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, geography and computer science. He also has a history of successful grant writing that cover a wide variety of topics (e.g., crowd navigation, office stress, health and environment). His most recent grant leverages advances in virtual reality and gaming technology to develop a battery of tests that will expose the link between cognitive decline and deficits in locomotion and wayfinding.
