Sarah Taylor

Sarah began her study of the law in high school and was awarded Dux of Legal Studies for her graduating year. She went on to work at a generalist law firm in conveyancing during her university studies. Despite also testing the waters with psychology and journalism subjects, it was Sarah’s love of the law that resulted in her completing her bachelor of laws at Bond University. Sarah was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2012. Sarah commenced practise in a generalist law firm focussing on Wills and Estates and Personal Injury Law. During this time Sarah gained significant experience in Estate Planning matters and Estate Administration matters. She also gained extensive experience in civil litigation by way of her personal injury work. With a passion for Wills and Estate law, and a passion for the fast-paced environment of litigation, Sarah combined the two when she gained employment as a Succession Litigation Lawyer. She has had extensive experience in Succession Law Litigation, with a particular focus on family provision claims across various jurisdictions in Australia. Sarah is now currently in private practice as a Wills and Estates lawyer on the Gold Coast with a focus in Estate planning. Sarah teaches at varying times in the Property Law Practice module, the Civil Litigation module and the Wills and Estates Practice elective in the GDLP programme at Bond University.
