Ravi Balakrishnamoorthy

Associate Professor Ravi Bala is a discipline lead for Paediatrics at Bond University, helping to create and improve the paediatric curriculum and assessment process to give students the confidence and skills to be exemplary junior doctors managing children and babies. Alongside his work at Bond, Ravi works as a specialist General Paediatrician at Gold Coast University Hospital, Gold Coast Private Hospital, Pindara Private Hospital and in a private clinic on the Gold Coast. He is a QLD coordinator for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians College Learning Series and an expert reviewer for the Tri-State (QLD, NSW, VIC) Paediatric Improvement Collaborative, regularly publishing guidelines through the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. He is also a member of the QLD Paediatric Training Committee, as well as a co-creator of Queensland’s first ever Paediatric Specialist Written Exam Online Preparation Program. Ravi is an Ex-Bondie (Class of 2012) who is committed to giving back to the university and its students.
