Professional biography

Lindsey completed a Juris Doctor degree at George Washington University in Washington, DC, and worked for several international organizations including the World Bank and The Organization of American States. Subsequently she focused her legal career on refugees, representing asylum seekers before US Federal agencies and Federal courts as a lawyer at the Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights Coalition, a Washington based Non-Government Organization (NGO). Lindsey has a strong interest in international human rights, in particular refugee rights and women’s rights.
