Dr Laura-Leigh Cameron-Dow

Professional biography

After extensive international experience in management in various industries, including banking and IT, Laura-Leigh completed her LLB (Hons) at Bond University where she achieved the Vice-Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists for academic excellence. She was admitted as a Legal Practitioner in New South Wales and Queensland in 2006. She initially practised at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers in personal injury litigation and then moved to Slater & Gordon Lawyers, Brisbane. At Slater & Gordon she specialised in asbestos law practised through the Dust Diseases Tribunal (NSW) before she set up the Queensland medical negligence department. After leaving Slater & Gordon she began teaching at Bond University where she has lectured and tutored multiple subjects. Laura-Leigh is also pursuing a potential criminal Miscarriage of Justice case.
