Professional biography

Kath Nolan is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and subject co-ordinator of Nutrition Assessment and Diagnosis as well as Practice Educator for the Professional Internship Management – Individual Case Management. Kath has been an accredited Dietitian for 20 years and her work has allowed her to travel throughout Queensland, working in a wide variety of urban, rural and remote positions. To date Kath has practiced in 28 country towns as well as Brisbane with experience in acute hospital settings, outpatient clinics, foodservice, public health and private practice. Over the past 8 years Kath have focused her career in private practice with a special interest in food allergies and intolerances, chronic disease and bariatric surgery. More recently Kath joined the team in the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics Program here at Bond University as a Senior Teaching Fellow. In addition to her teaching roles Kath has worked with Healthcert to co-ordinated the development of the first tertiary created online nutrition course for General Practitioners in Australia.
