Research interests

My main area of research interest is in the application of sustainable development principles into structural engineering design. I also maintain active participation in researching and developing the use of engineered timber products.

My other areas of research interest include the use of carbon fibre strengthening in structures, structural health monitoring, pre-manufactured buildings and green building rating systems.I actively collaborate with numerous Australian Universities.

My main area of supervision interest relates to the work of the Centre for Comparative Construction Research (CCCR).

I have an active research interest in the field of structural engineering as the sustainability considerations of the built environment.
