New Business Director Appointed to the Faculty of Law

The Faculty of Law welcomes new Business Director Terri Mottershead, who brings almost three decades of experience in international law practice, organizational development, stakeholder engagement, legal education and management. Ms Mottershead is a former Brisbane based practitioner who has spent the past 20 years working in university and in-house legal education in Asia and the US. She has established and led the legal education functions globally for Inter-Pacific Bar Association, Lex Mundi and DLA Piper LLP (US). Most recently she has returned to Australia, working as the Acting Director of the Griffith University Law School Legal Practice Centre. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (with honours) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice both from the Queensland Institute of Technology; a Master of Laws from the University of Queensland; and a Master of Business Administration (with distinction) from the University of Wales. Dean of the Faculty of Law Professor Geraldine Mackenzie said she was pleased to be working with Ms Mottershead and her wealth of experience in management, legal practice and legal education. “Ms Mottershead will commence her role on 12 December 2012 and I look forward to her making a valuable contribution to the Bond Community,” said Professor Mackenzie.
