NEWS FLASH: Bond University was named the 2017 Australian University Games Per Capita Champion, awarded for number of pennants received per student population. Bond also finished 16th overall, out of 41 universities, which is one of our best-ever results. We were also awarded the overall women’s swimming pennant, overall swimming champions pennant, and the Div 2 women’s netball pennant. More details to come soon...

Bond University will be entering a 200-strong team of athletes to compete in the 2017 Australian University Games (AUG), which are taking place on the Gold Coast from 24-29 September.

The Bullsharks will be competing in 21 sports at venues across the Gold Coast, including right here on campus where the Handball and Rugby Sevens will take place Monday through to Thursday.

Over 9,000 athletes from across the country will descend on the Coast for the six-day event, making it the largest university sporting event in Australia. The Australian University Games are managed by Australian University Sport (AUS) and are renowned for providing a friendly but competitive environment for Australian university athletes.
