About the position

The Finance Officer will provide finance administrative support to the Office of Future Students (OFS), which incorporates the university functions of international and domestic recruitment, admissions, marketing and customer experience and global mobility.

This position is responsible for the daily finance requirements including; purchase order management, processing of invoices, credit card reconciliations, process and payment of international agent commissions, coding of expenditure and preparation of expenditure reports.

This position will be offered as a full time or part time appointment.

About the person:

The successful candidate will hold a university degree in a business/commerce discipline or equivalent qualification. They will have a demonstrated capacity to understand and process financial data, along with previous experience in a finance/administration environment.

High level computer application experience including the use of finance management systems is essential, as is the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of staff and students. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills are also required.

Competency in the use of the Finance One Accounting Software package is highly desirable.

Salary details:

The full-time salary for this appointment commences $58 990 p.a. plus 10% superannuation, negotiable on skills and experience.
