About the position

The Transformation CoLab combines entrepreneurship with innovation and design thinking to ensure that Bond graduates are fully prepared for jobs of the future. The Executive Officer will work as part of a team responsible for the professional and efficient delivery of the Transformation CoLab Programs and Core Curriculum subjects. 

This position provides high level and comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Assistant Provost and CoLab Staff, whilst proactively forging important relationships with key University stakeholders. The Executive Officer will provide input into strategic and budgetary processes, as well as provide support and advice on staffing for the CoLab to ensure that all required HR processes are followed, and new staff are orientated into the work area. The Executive Officer will also be tasked with project coordination as determined by the Assistant Provost.

The Executive Officer will act as the interface on student matters and will provide advice, where appropriate, on rules, precedents, guidelines and policies established by the University, and will assist the Assistant Provost with policy developments.

About the person:

Interested candidates will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline with significant working experience in a tertiary education environment. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to operate with a high degree of independence in a fast-paced environment, as well was being exceedingly well organised, flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.

Experience in applying human resource principals across an area of responsibility and the ability to clearly communicate, consult, negotiate and liaise with multiple stakeholders to ensure exceptional client service is required.

An in-depth understanding of tertiary education and working knowledge of the pathway and undergraduate programs of the University, or the ability to acquire this knowledge, will be an advantage.

Salary details:

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $81 910 plus 10% superannuation p.a.
