About the position

Bond University offers a suite of micro-credentials that meet the new and emerging needs of business, industry, and the general community. Bond micro-credentials are offered across multiple disciplines to provide professional development and learning opportunities that are relevant to a changing and dynamic workforce. These smaller learning options also provide pathways to enrolment in degree programs.

The newly created position of Manager, Micro-Credential Unit will support the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) to identify, develop and maintain products and courses that are in alignment with the University’s strategic objectives. The position is responsible for proactively and independently managing relationships with external stakeholders, academic and professional staff from Faculties and all other areas of the University. The position will also support our learners by ensuring compliance with rules, precedents and guidelines established by the University in relation to the Micro-Credential Unit.

About the person:

The successful applicant will have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree and will have extensive knowledge and experience working in a University or training environment. They will be an expert in all aspects of micro-credentialing.

The successful applicant will have strong administrative and organisational skills along with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. They are required to have sound professional judgment skills, be proactive, efficient, and resourceful and have the proven ability to be an effective public interface for the Unit.

Salary details:

The salary for this position will commence at $95,441.52, per annum plus 9.5% superannuation.
