About the position
The Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine seeks an experienced marketing & communications professional to join the team as the External Engagement and Marketing Manager.
This busy and complex role suits a dynamic, organised and creative individual who enjoys working with a wide range of internal and external executives, academics, industry and client stakeholders and staff to deliver an integrated marketing, events and recruitment strategy that will meet Faculty objectives and contribute to University outcomes. There is responsibility across both the domestic and international portfolios, covering all general marketing disciplines and occasional travel is required.
Reporting to the Faculty Business Director, it will be necessary for the External Engagement and Marketing Manager to become the Health Sciences and Medicine product knowledge specialist and to ensure that this knowledge is transferred to all front-line staff.
- About the person:
The successful applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in a marketing, communications (or similar) discipline plus a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related role. A proven track record of success in proactively developing and executing an integrated marketing strategy to achieve business outcomes is essential.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with interpersonal skills conducive to establishing strategic partnerships, persuading others, building and maintaining effective relationships and motivating others toward shared goals are required. Higher education product knowledge and associated admissions procedures is desirable.

The salary range for this appointment is $80,700.04 to $91,276.04 p.a plus 9.5% superannuation. Negotiable on skills and experience.
