About the position

Bond University College (BUC) is seeking to appoint a highly organised and resourceful Senior Administration Officer to work as part of a team responsible for the professional and efficient delivery of pathway programs within the University. The position is responsible for proactively and independently managing relationships with academic and professional staff from faculties and other areas of the University.

The Senior Administration Officer will ensure the provision of comprehensive administrative and operational support for the Coordinators of the College’s programs and subjects, the Board of Studies and its sub-Committees, the Executive Manager and the Director, Bond University College.

The role is responsible for ensuring that all teaching staff are provided with all information and resources necessary to discharge their responsibilities, as well as ensuring that staff contracts and paperwork are prepared in a timely manner and that staff are orientated into the University.

About the person:

The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree with at least five years’ relevant work experience, preferably in a university or other policy-related setting. Demonstrated high level communication skills are required, including the ability to clearly communicate, consult, negotiate and liaise with students, academic and professional staff, and to manage and build relationships cross-culturally and at all levels.

Intermediate competency in the Microsoft Office Suite is essential, along with excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills. The ability to apply judgment to adapt to a constantly changing work environment and to prioritise workloads with competing demands will be key to success in this role.

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $70,159.47 plus 9.5% superannuation per annum.
