About the position
The Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine invites applications from qualified candidates interested in joining the Physiotherapy discipline as an Assistant Professor on a full-time basis.
Under the leadership of senior academic staff, the positions will contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of the Doctor of Physiotherapy program; research and scholarship; academic administration; and community engagement, particularly in the professional field of Physiotherapy.
Two positions are available with specific expertise as follows:
1. Clinical, research and teaching expertise within the Musculoskeletal domain of Physiotherapy.
2. Teaching and education support for students and clinical educators within clinical placements in the Physiotherapy program. Research, teaching and clinical expertise within Physiotherapy.
- About the person:
The successful candidates will be registered or be eligible for registration as a Physiotherapist in Australia. The candidates will also typically hold a Doctoral qualification. They will have a track record of effective teaching, learning, research and academic administration within the higher education sector.
- Salary details:

The salary range for this appointment is $115,033 to $136,433 plus superannuation and will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. Salary packaging options are available for eligible employees.
