About the position
The Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine invites applications from qualified candidates interested in joining the Occupational Therapy discipline as an Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy on a part-time basis.
This position will contribute to the teaching, learning, research and community engagement activities of the occupational therapy discipline and Master of Occupational Therapy program. Under the leadership of senior academic staff, the successful candidate will also contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of the Master of Occupational Therapy program, supervise the clinical and/or industry research activities of occupational therapy students, and teach across the breadth of OT with emphasis dependent on area of speciality.
- About the person:
The successful candidate will be registered or be eligible for registration as an Occupational Therapist in Australia. The candidate will also typically hold a Doctoral qualification, although may hold a Master qualification with evidence of substantial research and/or professional practice experience. They will have a track record of effective teaching, learning, research and academic administration within the higher education sector.
