About the position
This is an outstanding opportunity for a suitably qualified academic to join the Faculty of Society & Design at an exciting time of growth and development.
The emphases of the position are to deliver and undertake teaching and research within the areas of program and portfolio management, international project management and project/process innovation. Additional experience related to any of the areas listed below would be favoured:
- Principles of Project Management
- Project Finance and Procurement
- Expert Witness and Dispute Resolution
- Managing Projects
- About the person:
The successful applicant will hold a PhD in a cognate field and have extensive relevant industry or research experience. It is desirable that the applicant is a certified professional practitioner with the AIPM, PMI or equivalent professional association and have a strong professional network.
As a member of academic staff the successful applicant will be responsible for contributing to teaching, research and service in the Faculty and University at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The successful applicant will also engage in professional and industry liaison and provide student support within the Faculty.

Assistant Professor remuneration commences at $115,033 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation.
Associate Professor remuneration commences at $143,126 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation.

This position will be expected to commence for semester 2, being May 2019.
