About the position
Reporting to the Lead Web Developer, this technical position will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a number of web-based applications for the University. This role will be responsible for using the IT development framework to scope, define, manage and implement assigned projects. Working closely with the lead web developer, this role will help maintain, improve and build new components of large-scale web-based projects and systems.
- About the person:
The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and/or experience in a similar position. Significant skills in the design, development, maintenance and integration of web applications and PHP based content management systems (preferably Drupal) with at least 3 years’ experience in a commercial or educational environment. Highly motivated, the candidate will have the ability to work with other technical staff and internal clients with minimal direction. A strong knowledge of CSS pre-processors (SASS/LESS) and Bootstrap customisation is pivotal to this role. Knowledge and experience in Drupal theming and custom module development will be well regarded

The salary for this position will commence at $82,867.54 inclusive of 9.5% superannuation per annum.
