About the position
The Office of Learning and Teaching at Bond University supports and leads teaching excellence, innovative teaching methods and curriculum, high quality learning environments and quality assurance in learning outcomes for our students. This newly created position within the Office of Learning and Teaching will primarily focus on leading, enhancing, growing and coordinating the Strategic Learning and Teaching portfolio, and applicable activities, programs and practice at Bond University.
The Academic Coordinator – Special Projects will closely support the Director, Learning & Teaching to identify and deliver successful implementation of strategic projects and initiatives, providing high level educational research, program evaluation supports, data analysis, instructional design advice, and reporting outputs to support continuous improvement.
- About the person:
To be considered for this opportunity candidates will possess a doctoral qualification or equivalent (EdD) relevant to learning and teaching, educational development, and/or adult education, together with significant experience in academic development and instructional design within Higher Education.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching, as well as the development, implementation and review of curriculum is essential, as is experience in planning, developing, facilitating and reviewing learning and teaching initiatives and programs.
Project management leadership and coordination of educational projects, exceptional communication skills and a strong understanding of contemporary best practice in higher education in relation to academic and program design, delivery and continuous improvement practice is required.
Previous experience in online educational development and experience supporting accreditation, benchmarking and/or program review at the University level will be highly regarded.

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $94 952 plus 9.5% superannuation pa.
