About the position
The Assistant Professor- Psychology will contribute to the Faculty’s teaching and research profile, engage in clinical and other professional activities and provide administrative support within the Faculty. The primary focus of this position will be to deliver and undertake teaching and research in the field of psychology generally, but including cognitive neuroscience/neuropsychology.
- About the person:
To be successful for the role the candidate must possess a strong teaching record along with evidence of experience in contemporary teaching methods such as; self-directed learning, small group learning, web-based learning and technology enhanced learning.
Possession of a PhD in Psychology and an active record of research and publications are also essential for success in this role. The successful candidate will have strong research expertise preferably, but not exclusively in several of the following areas; human-machine interactions, machine learning, verbal and non-verbal development, social and affective interaction, tactile/haptic perception, typical and a-typical ageing.
