Description
Law of Succession and Administration of Estates is an elective subject in undergraduate programs offered by the Faculty of Law. This subject will provide a brief overview of enduring documents and their relationship to succession law, family maintenance and the role of personal representatives. The specific topics to be covered will be: an introduction to enduring documents; introduction to wills and other transactions; making and execution of wills; alteration, revival, republication and revocation of wills; death, burial and cremation; personal representatives, probate and administration; payment of debts and order of application of assets; legacies, devises and beneficiaries; intestacy and family provision.

Learning outcomes
