GMBA70-108: Management Strategy and Policy

Description

The term “Rapid Environmental Change” has been used frequently for years. However, the extent of change in recent times is increasingly dynamic. Various somewhat dramatic shifts in the international landscape have happened and will continue to happen. As the extent of change continues to increase, it becomes critical for companies and individuals to have the ability to understand, plan, and operating strategies of high quality. In this situation, many people tend to seek “excellent management strategies” or what is called “Ultra C”. However, these “new management strategies” and “new problem-solving theories” divert managers’ attention from core problems which they really have to focus on. When the situations and decision frameworks faced by management become harder, it is important for managers not to find a “wonderful management strategy” to ease the situation but to go back to the fundamental standpoint of management to prevent basic mistakes. This subject is planned to learn what is a “Fundamental standpoint of management strategy” and how to apply these points into real operation.
