Description
Internships provide students with an introduction to the realities of work in a professional field. In the semester prior to the internship, students submit a job application portfolio, an analysis of companies, a personal industry portfolio and biographical accounts of three leaders in their career field (5,000 words) to their academic supervisor. In addition, after the internship submit a further 5,000 words comprising an essay describing the work done by professionals in the area, a weekly journal, and work portfolio from the internship experience.
