BUSN13-730: Business School International Semester

Description

Students will be undertaking study at approved overseas institutes offering an international internship experience program, facilitating both academic study courses and practical industry internship placement. The program will be covering 30cpts of Bond general elective classes over the course of an entire semester. Eligible partners include the Washington Internship Institute in Washington DC - USA, and East China Normal University collaborated with CRCC Asia in Shanghai – China. Washington Internship Institute program requires students to complete two courses of academic study (mandatory internship seminar and one elective seminar from a list of available options), combined with an internship. Available January and September semesters. East China Normal China University program will require students to complete three courses of academic study under this subject, in conjunction with subject BUSN13-700 (Business Internship) for a total of 40cpts. Available September semesters.

Assumed knowledge is the minimum level of knowledge of a subject area that students are assumed to have acquired through previous study. It is the responsibility of students to ensure they meet the assumed knowledge expectations of the subject. Students who do not possess this prior knowledge are strongly recommended against enrolling and do so at their own risk. No concessions will be made for students’ lack of prior knowledge.

Minimum 2.5 GPA, final year of studies at time of undertaking this subject. Please see the Bond Career Development Centre (CDC) for information and an application form.

This subject is not available as a general elective. To be eligible for enrolment, the subject must be specified in the students’ program structure.
