Located in Nova Scotia, St. Francis Xavier University is ranked one of the best in Canada, catering primarily to undergraduate students in a vibrant, small-town setting. There is plenty to do in the area, including waterfront walks at the Antigonish Landing, tubing down the river (in the warmer months), or a visit to the local beaches. Clemson is ranked as the 23rd best national public university and they are renowned for the high quality of life for their student body. They have over 16,000 Undergraduate and 4,000 Postgraduate students. The campus sits on 1,400 acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, along the shores of the Hartwell Lake. The Bowman Field connects campus to downtown Clemson and nearby Hartwell Lake offers more than 900 miles of shoreline for swimming, skiing, sailing and relaxing. The mountains on the horizon are just a short drive from campus. Go in the Fall semester (Sept-Dec) to experience the College football season or in the Spring (Jan-May) for Extreme Games.  During your semester at Clemson, head to Memorial Stadium for a football game, visit the Botanical gardens, museums, cathedrals and theatre to make sure you get the full experience.
