Psychology Clinic

A first class teaching and research facility

The Bond University Psychology Clinic operates as part of the Faculty of Society & Design.

The Clinic is a private university teaching clinic for provisionally registered psychologists undertaking postgraduate study in clinical or forensic psychology. The lab functions as a centre for clinical research to support study. The Psychology Clinic has been providing psychological service to the Gold Coast community since 1999.

A psychology teaching clinic is like a medical teaching hospital. The clinic offers services provided by Provisionally-registered Psychologists who have already completed at least four years of university training in psychology, and who are now enrolled in specialist post-graduate Master's degrees. All students working in the Clinic are Provisionally-registered as Psychologists with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Provisionally-registered Psychologists provide services under the supervision of highly qualified and experienced staff who are, either members of the Australian Psychological Society  or part of Colleges of Clinical or Forensic Psychologists. You will always be advised of the professional status of the person providing services to you.

As this is a teaching clinic, consultations with clients are routinely observed by other provisionally-registered Psychologists and their supervisors.
