Bond University’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Tim Brailsford is pleased to host an evening with inspirational Kiwi, William Pike.
Having faced adversity himself, William passionately encourages others to step out of their comfort zone to achieve the extraordinary. He is the inspiration behind the William Pike Challenge Award, a nationwide youth development program that builds critical skills to help young people succeed in a rapidly evolving world. William will join Bond University at this special evening as we explore themes of resilience, taking on new challenges, and transforming students to succeed.
As a not-for-profit private University located on the Gold Coast in Australia, Bond University offers a unique education experience that focusses on the individual, their ambition and ultimately their success. Like William, Bond University believes everyone deserves a future where they succeed and achieve their life’s goals. Bond’s commitment to personalised education and preparing graduates for the future is delivered through innovative, game changing programs that provide students with the skills and characteristics that future employers expect from graduates.
It’s our mission to transform graduates to be accomplished problem-solvers, innovators, design thinkers and entrepreneurs as they take on a range of global challenges. They will be excellent collaborators, exceptional leaders and superb communicators and will have the breadth of knowledge and skills that enable them to identify the information they need to solve any problem and to create any solution – past, present and future.
Please join us as we take a journey beyond our comfort zone with William Pike and Bond University.
This event is open to all Year 12 and Year 13 high school students, teachers, parents, and others interested in the future of our youth and the role that education plays in driving passion.
