In partnership with EQI and Study Gold Coast, come and experience the second High School to University Experience - with unique, practical activities that will prepare you for the world of medicine and criminology.
Make new friends, engage with current university students, experience activities that challenge your thinking and prepare you for University life and beyond.
Places are limited, so register now to attend these engaging and interactive sessions. We have two activities for you to choose from, please indicate your chosen session when registering:
- Health Science and Medicine - Adventures in Medicine Design: In this activity, we will explore how medicines are designed using 3D computation. Students will have a chance to design their own medicine and each one will be tested computationally for activity on a target in the body, so that we can find which students have created the most successful molecule for use as a medicine.
- Faculty of Society & Design – How to spot a lie and communicate like a Diplomat: In this participatory session, you will discover the art of how to tell when someone is lying and resolve an escalating global crisis like a Diplomat. Not only will you learn some valuable methodologies in spotting deception, but also have the opportunity to go head to head with our current Criminology Bondies to test your lie detecting prowess.
