Student volunteering projects

In line with Bond’s commitment to providing much more than a degree, the ethos of ‘giving back’ is not just something we encourage; it’s embedded into our curriculum.

Beyond Bond: Professional Development and Community Engagement is an official degree requirement for all undergraduate students, aimed at providing innovative life-learning experiences such as volunteering, mentoring, community leadership and more.

The program is administered by Bond’s Career Development Centre which works closely with community organisations such as Volunteering Gold Coast to coordinate opportunities for our students.

Community projects are facilitated by our on-campus clubs and societies such as the Student Philanthropy Council and the Bond University United Nations Students Association. They are also facilitated by Bond Indigenous Awareness Society, as well as the individual academic Faculties.
