Live at Bond is a series of three free concerts a year, held at Bond University’s picturesque outdoor live performance space, the ADCO Amphitheatre. The eclectic program features emerging and accomplished artists, and has built a strong local following of live music lovers since it began in 2011.
The first concert for 2019 is on Sunday 13th January at 5:00pm, featuring Electrik Lemonade and First Beige.
Electrik Lemonade have a 28,000km national tour under their belt, some incredible festival gigs including the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, a Gold Coast Music Awards nomination for Best Live Act along with a prestigious National Live Music Awards nomination for Australia's Best Live Act - up there with the Cat Empire! They've recorded a new album, which is planned for release in April and they'll be bringing on the funk when they play here on Sunday 13th Jan. First Beige are a class-act Brisbane group whose eclectic, genre-bending sound re-imagines elements of disco, soul and funk.
