Kathy has 27 years of experience in the education sector leading financial and operational teams in the delivery of governance, risk management, employment relations, ICT, facilities, and infrastructure projects as well as leading in change management and service delivery programs in the not-for-profit sector.

Kathy's skill set includes accounting, strategic management, leadership, risk management, corporate governance, and continuous operational and financial improvement.

Mandy Ford is an experienced company director, with prior careers as both a lawyer, specialising in medical negligence, insurance, and personal injury law, as a registered nurse, working in cardiac intensive care, adult intensive care and neonatal intensive care.

Mandy established and built a successful national medio-legal company and acted as its CEO/Managing Director for over a decade.  Mandy's company, the Australian Medico-Legal Group, employed over 600 medical specialists throughout Australia and across multiple specialties and legal jurisdictions.

Mandy has been a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors since 1999 and is currently a non-executive Director for St John Ambulance (SA).

Scott has more than 30 years in the financial services business. He is Managing Director of Lifestyle Capital, overseeing the strategic direction and development of the four main entities of the Group. Lifestyle Capital offers integrated financial services covering the provision of advice in wealth management and preservation, tax, superannuation, funds management and property.  Its distribution network comprises in excess of 40 Authorised representatives; has over 10,000 retail clients and funds under direction in excess of $500m, the majority of this in superannuation.  Scott works with, and understands deeply financial services regulatory risk and has the fiduciary responsibility to act in the best interest of the client at all times. 

Scott is a Non-Executive Director of the Gallipoli Memorial Club and Company Secretary of a Not for Profit enterprise providing services to people with a disability.


Sharn Hobill is the Director of Integrative Governance ( specialising in governance advice to enterprises.  Sharn has more than 15 years of experience as a Solicitor/Associate along with a demonstrated history of working as a lecturer in teaching areas which include Corporate Governance and Ethics, Civil Dispute Resolution, International Business Law and Ethics, and more.  She was admitted to practice as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2008.

Specialist areas of governance include legal, culture, ethics, contemporary governance practice and risk mitigation.

Suellen is the Company Secretary of a large NFP and is responsible for the risk and group finance compliance for the group.  Suellen's NED experience to date has enabled her to contribute her finance, strategic problem solving, and business management skills across industries such as education and training, community radio, international charities, and local charities.  Her broader employment experience has also covered industries across construction (JV), health, hospitality, travel, agriculture and HR.  

Suellen's natural leadership style aligns with her strong sense of ethics and passion for organisations that are building great cultures.  Suellen is a sessional lecturer in Corporate Governance and NFP trainer in charitable governance and management.

Simone is an Associate Professor of Finance within the Centre of Data Analytics at the Bond Business School.  Simone is a qualified Chartered Accountant and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  Her expertise was in corporate finance, firm valuation, and governance prior to joining academia.  Simone worked in the accounting profession for Arthur Andersen in Corporate Consultancy and Audit and then subsequently Coopers and Lybrand.

Simone has served on not-for-profit boards for Meals on Wheels and numerous university committees, including Bond University's Senate.  She is available for board roles and business consultancies, particularly in finance, accounting and data analytics.

With over 30 years in the financial services industry, Phil brings the experience of having served as Director and responsible manager of several financial services licensees.  Understanding the legal requirements facing the industry, his approach to governance is to weigh risk against reward and apply the concept that best practice must be the optimal solution for all parties.

Phil offers a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills that always include an ethical overlay to any recommendation.  His experience is well supported by his qualifications of a Master of Commerce (Financial Planning) and the Master of Laws (LLMEntGov) recently completed through Bond University.
