Keep your options open
We encourage you to lodge your application as soon as you have decided what you would like to study. There’s no application fee – no obligation to accept a place if it is offered – it simply gives you another option when it comes to making a decision about your future.
Applications for most Bond programs can be lodged at any time directly to the University. With the exception of the MBBS, you do not need to go through QTAC and your Bond application will not affect your QTAC application for other university programs. Apply direct to Bond University via our secure online Application Form.
International students - full degree
Apply directly to Bond using our secure online Application Form or through a representative in your country.
Outbound Exchange - Bond Students
Undergraduate Bond students must have completed two semesters prior to application while postgraduate Bondies can apply from their first semesters. Applications received in first and second semesters will be pending GPA requirements of 65% and above. Find out how to apply for exchange.
Inbound Exchange students
If your home institution has a formal exchange agreement with Bond, you will need to apply through them via their Outbound Exchange Student application process. Your university may set certain academic performance standards for you to qualify for the program. Providing you meet their criteria, your home institution will contact Bond to nominate you as an Exchange Student and we will contact you to advise that your nomination has been successful. You will then be able to apply to Bond using our secure online Application Form, which must be accompanied by the required documentation. Exchange students pay their regular tuition fees to their home institution – not to Bond University.
Study Abroad students
Firstly obtain approval from your home institution, then apply directly to Bond using our secure online Application Form; through a Study Abroad representative in your country; or through your home university if applicable.
Bond University runs three full semesters each year with intakes in January (Semester 1), May (Semester 2) and September (Semester 3). Our semesters are scheduled to coordinate with the Northern Hemisphere school/university timetables. (You’ll find that most other Australian universities offer only two semesters a year, meaning that you may have to wait until February or July before you can start your international studies.)
Entry to Bond is based on more than just your final Year 12 results. When it comes to identifying students who will truly benefit from our unique educational experience, we believe it is important to consider other factors – such as involvement in extracurricular activities, sporting achievements, volunteerism, community service, leadership potential, life experiences … and all those qualities that make you ‘you’.
In addition to any performance standards stipulated by your home institution, you will also need to meet Bond’s academic and English language requirements for the study program you have chosen.
If you need extra tuition, Bond offers English classes on campus through Bond University English Language Institution, as well as a Foundation Program to prepare you for University studies in Australia.
Applying for a scholarship is as simple as completing an additional section of the general Bond application form. In other words, there's no need to submit multiple applications. Your applications acts as both an application for a scholarship as well as an application to study at Bond University all in one form. Before you start an application, read our top scholarship application tips.
