Structure & Subjects

The Master of Laws (Legal Practice) is a 100 credit point program incorporating the Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (PLT). Students receive 35 credit points for successful completion of PLT. The remaining 65 credit points is made up of three (3) components:

Compulsory Subject (1)

Postgraduate Subjects (3)

Students must choose three postgraduate law subjects, including two from the areas of advocacy or alternative dispute resolution.

Research Project (1)

Students must complete an individual directed research project (equivalent to one postgraduate subject) within an area covered by PLT.

Teaching Methodology

Bond University’s teaching methodology involves a combination of lectures, tutorials, seminars, examinations, projects, presentations, assignments, computer labs and industry projects.
