Bond University Health and Wellness Clinic (BUHAWC) is an interdisciplinary and holistic Allied Health service providing accessible and valuable care to the community. The clinic provides specialised teaching and training for Bond University students and our partners while offering a range of therapeutic and rehabilitative services to the Gold Coast community.
The clinic offers student-led services in psychology, occupational therapy, nutrition, physiotherapy, and exercise science, all supervised by experienced clinicians and academic staff.
The existingBond University Psychology Clinic, which has been providing psychological services (including Assessments) to the Gold Coast community since 1999, moved to Bond University Health and Wellness Clinic in 2024. Clients include children, adolescents, adults and families, seeking help on a wide range of matters.
The clinic helps train our clinical psychology masters students who are completing their practical internship placements under the supervision of world-renowned psychology professors and practitioners. Our interns are Provisional Psychologists, all provisionally registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority, and have completed the equivalent of four years of psychology training.

Our student-Physiotherapist interns use evidence-based techniques to offer tailored solutions for optimal physical health for all ages, including addressing musculoskeletal issues, promoting recovery, and improving mobility.

Where to find BUHAWC
The Bond University Health and Wellness Clinic is located on Level 2 of the Bond Institute of Health and Sport (BIHS), at 2 Promethean Way, Robina, Queensland 4226.
BIHS is a short walk from Robina Train Station and Robina Hospital, and is located next-door to CBus Super Stadium. It is approximately 4km from Bond University's Varsity Lakes campus.
Free parking and bicycle storage facilities are available on-site.
Not all services require a GP-referral. If you are unsure, please contact the Bond University Health and Wellness Clinic to see if a referral is needed ahead of your appointment.
Yes, the Bond University Health and Wellness Clinic is a specialised teaching and training facility for our Allied Health students with supervision provided by qualified practitioners and academics.
Payment is required as part of the booking process. When your appointment is booked successfully, you will receive a text message with a secure link for payment. For alternative options or assistance, please contact the clinic.
Generally, there is no limit to how many sessions you can book. Services can be accessed until the completion of your care cycle as determined by your student intern in consultation with their Clinical Supervisor.
Yes, all information collected in this clinic is treated as sensitive information. To protect your privacy, this clinic operates in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Queensland).
We collect and use the information you provide to manage your healthcare. You can assist in maintaining the accuracy of your information by advising the clinic of any changes to your information, including changes in address, telephone number, etc.
Students observing or participating in consultations have signed and are bound by a strict confidentiality agreement. If your record is used as a teaching aide, identifying information will be removed before use. Your personal information may be disclosed to other health services involved in your healthcare management (for example, your GP or other specialists).
Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third party without your written consent. In some circumstances, we are legally obliged to disclose information about you, for example, if records are subpoenaed for a court case, or there is a legal requirement to collect information about your particular health conditions such as life-threatening diseases or diseases with high public risks, or if there is an immediate and specified risk of harm to an identifiable person or persons which can be averted only by disclosing information. We will ensure that any such disclosure is limited to only what is necessary.
